Sustainability Consulting

Sustainability goals mean the most when they’re tied to measurable outcomes. We guide project teams through green building certifications, green codes, and owner-driven sustainability targets, integrating requirements into the design process from day one instead of chasing documentation at the end. Our strategies are informed by our energy, enclosure, and commissioning work, so what gets certified is what actually performs.

Building Performance

Energy modeling is a tool, not the deliverable. We use it to answer the questions that shape your project: which systems make sense, how to meet code most cost-effectively, and where the savings really are. Our services cover energy code compliance, design optimization, energy audits, utility cost forensics for existing buildings, building performance standards (BEPS) strategy, and the technical documentation behind tax incentives and utility programs.

MEP Commissioning

Commissioning verifies that a building’s systems are designed, installed, and operating to meet the owner’s needs. Our commissioning team works from owner requirements through design review, construction verification, functional testing, and turnover. Because we understand the energy and enclosure strategies behind the design, we catch the issues that matter most and keep them from becoming costly operating problems.

Enclosure Consulting

The building enclosure drives comfort, durability, and energy use, and it’s one of the hardest systems to fix after the fact. Our building scientists provide enclosure commissioning, design and submittal review, hygrothermal and thermal bridging analysis, field performance testing, and forensic condition assessments of existing buildings. We help teams get the enclosure right the first time, and diagnose it when something goes wrong.

Residential Programs

Residential and multifamily projects have their own programs, codes, and incentives, and we know them well. We support developers and builders with LEED Multifamily Midrise, ENERGY STAR and National Green Building Standard (NGBS) certification, and the documentation behind federal and local incentives. We work efficiently at scale, from townhome communities to large multifamily buildings.
